Henney on the set of “Wolverine”

He really is in the movie! Actor Daniel Henney is pictured here in Canada on the set of the upcoming film “X-men Origins: Wolverine”. Daniel Henney, I am now convinced, is the first person to have a real Hollywood debut. Rain’s film “Speed Racer”, besides being a box-office flop, was forgotten about before it was even released. Jun Ji Hyun’s film, “Blood: The Last Vampire”, though slated for release next month, has yet to produce a trailer or any evidence of said release. Lee Byung Hun’s film, “G.I. Joe”, sure to be a hit, will not be released until after Henney’s and, well, you can’t even see his face in the poster.

Henney, on the other hand, was in the trailer of the film (albeit for a blink of the eye) and he even had lines. Lines, guys. And not ones that he had to memorize phonetically. I’m excited to see all the Hallyu stars debut in their Hollywood films, but Henney seems to be beating them all to the punch.
