The actress Jang Ja-yeon, who hanged herself last Saturday, left a lengthy suicide note. “Ja-yeon would feel sad if she knew people consider her as a mere depression patient who died without even leaving a will,” a friend told the Chosun Ilbo. “I decided to reveal some part of her writing dotted with thumbprints to pay respect to what she had in mind.”
But the friend added, “Even though the note includes details of how she has been hurt since she started working in show business to become an actress, I won’t reveal it all because that could cause unwitting damage to others.”
Jang’s friends have been suspicious that the 29-year-old really killed herself due to depression because she had just risen from relative obscurity through the hugely popular TV drama, “Boys over Flowers.”
Jang was allegedly distressed over the need to choose an agency, but a representative with her current agency said Sunday, “She wanted to renew the contract with us after it expired, so we were discussing the matter. I can’t believe that problems surrounding the agency have driven her to suicide.”
A representative at another agency identified as Yu, to whom Jang had reportedly talked about her problems, is believed to have seen the suicide note but has been incommunicado since he wrote on his website, “People in the entertainment world know why she killed herself.”

GDragon, leader to idol group Big Bang, speaks up directly about criticisms about his fashion on ‘Mnet 20’s Choice’ last year.
GDragon had wore a top with prints ‘69′ and ‘f*ck you too’ amd ‘I ♥ SEX’ onto the stage then and was in the centre of criticisms after that.
In Big Bang’s book ‘Shouting to you in the world’ released on 28th January, GDragon gave his stand about the incident.
He said, “The clothes I wear is not about price or brand but about expression. When I say that music is the energy that moves me, fashion and clothes are the platforms for widening imagination. I had always wanted to work in the fashion industry if given the time and opportunity, and in my spare time of writing songs, I do make drawings and designs of clothes.”
“I wear my clothes with no relations to social standards but just as I feel like it but this has got me many criticisms along the way too. But the issue is also raised that as an entertainer in the centre of many’s attention, my conduct should be reconsidered and appropriate.” He added carefully.
“And especially so as a young singer wearing what is said to be a suggestive top and standing in front of the media on the stage. But I’m just wearing it because the tee shirt is one of the products by my favourite designer John Galliano and I liked it a lot.”
“And regarding my comment, ‘I don’t know anymore’ which was seen as an excuse by many, I have to apologise on my part of carelessness on that.”

5 member group KARA beat Girls Generation, and finally bagged their first number one hit. The group debuted in 2007 and is their first number one single.
On the afternoon of March 5 at Seoul DMC Nuri Dream Square, where Mnet's Mcountdown is held, KARA won over Girl's Generation' for their first number one song.
The members of KARA could not control their tears of happiness after finding out that they had won. By the end of their thank you speech, member Han Seungyeon and leader Park Gyuri could not control their emotions and were shedding tears of joy, which was met by the warm cheering from their fans.

“Bigbang Girls” decided 5 the members including Sandara Park.
“Members, songs, and everything is prepared. Only the name of the band left” .
YG Entertainment’s new girl band, which attracted people’s interests by being called “Bigbang Girls”, fianlly decided the members and started recording. Sandara Park, who has been famous for Bigbang Girls’ candidate, decided to join the group.
Moreover, one more member who hasn’t been known to the public also has joined, so 5 members, Park Bom, Gong Min Ji, CL, Sandara Park, and secret member decided to be “Bigbang Girls.”
The number 5 is as same as the number of members of Bigbang. Their debut may be differed accroding to their recordings, but it is planned to April.
They already started recording on 19th. The producer of the album became G-DRAGON.

Lee Min-ho, F4 leader of “Boys over Flowers” removed the bump from his nose at a unidentified plastic surgeon’s office in Kangnam on December 17th, 2007. The picture of the hot commodity with the doctors was spotted on their website with the tag line, “We lift up fallen stars”. However, Lee Min-ho is not the only star who become bigger stars, Choi Su-rin, Kim Yoon-suk, Lee Young-hoon, Do Won-kyung and Gold medalist Park Tae-hwan have also paid a visit.

It was another setback and a major one for Boys Before Flowers as one of the actresses, Jang Ja Yun (27) who plays Sunny in the drama and makes life difficult for Jandi as part of the JinSunMi trio was found to have committed suicide in her Bundang home today.
According to local police who confirmed the suicide, "Jang Ja Yun was found to have committed suicide in her own home today. She was discovered at around 7.34pm by her sister who then called the police. We are now investigating the case and will give further updates like the reason, her will (if any), etc at a later time." The police also revealed that her approximate time of death was around 4.30pm and that she had hung herself.
Friends who knew Jang Ja Yun was shocked by her suicide and expressed, "She had a passion for acting and loved it very much. She was very much a extrovert and we never really expected that she would commit suicide." Her sudden suicide has plunged the entire Boys Before Flowers into shock with the main cast of Lee Min Ho, Goo Hye Sun, etc unable to believe what they have heard after learning of the news from their respective companies.
Everyone involved with Boys Before Flowers will be paying their respects tomorrow morning at her wake after the morning session ends. According to someone at the filming site now, "We are still filming now (10pm, KST) and it was a big shock to receive this sad news suddenly. Why do all the bad things keep happening to Boys Before Flowers?"
Jang Ja Yun graduated from Chosun University and had made her debut through a Lotte Biscuit CF and was only starting out with her acting career. She still won a bit of popularity for her small role in Boys Before Flowers despite her late debut. But it's being reported that a dispute with her present management agency and a lack of time in Boys Before Flowers had left her feeling depressed and eventually causing her to choose the wrong path.
She only recently walked the red carpet at the recent 45th Baeksang Awards with the other 2 members of the JinSunMi trio, showing her excellent figure. She was also going to debut on the big screen with 2 upcoming movies and the future looked bright but her sudden suicide has left people feeling pity for her. Seungri was on SBS PowerFM ‘Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time - School vacation special episode - Big Star special show’ on 12th January where he revealed he experienced his first love during his 3 year in the secondary school.
He was in a dance team back then, “When I had my first perform on stage, a girl in the audience crowd caught my eyes. Right after the performance, I went off stage and approached her to ask for her contact.”
And DJ Choi responded, “That’s such a manly gesture. (’Manly’ as in bold in this case)” And SeungRi replied, “There is only just 1 chance. I told myself I don’t want to go home and have regrets over why I let the chance go away, so I summoned all my courage for it.”
He continued, “I had my first kiss with this girl under the umbrella on one rainy day. Even though I know how this girl is doing now, for sake of this girl’s privacy, this will just remain as memories.”

Since the news of Jung Hyung Don pairing up with So Nyeo Shi Dae member Kim Tae Yeon on MBC We Got Married broke yesterday, fans and netizens alike have gone berserk and hyper over the most unlikeliest pairing.
In an interview with the PDs of We Got Married, “Jung Hyung Don and Tae Yeon completed their first recording on the 5th. Kim HyunJoong’s company said “We try to fix the schedules in order for him to practice with the famous dance team in Japan, who choreographed for BoA.” Kim HyunJoong intends to build up his merits as a singer little by little through extensive learning in USA in the later half of this year and even in Japan.
Kim HyunJoong’s Japan project is his first step towards a better future as a singer. Kim HyunJoong will attend ‘F4’ fan meeting in April and has planned to release his solo song in May.

GDragon gives his stand on fashion criticisms
Big Bang, G-Dragon, koreanGDragon, leader to idol group Big Bang, speaks up directly about criticisms about his fashion on ‘Mnet 20’s Choice’ last year.
GDragon had wore a top with prints ‘69′ and ‘f*ck you too’ amd ‘I ♥ SEX’ onto the stage then and was in the centre of criticisms after that.
In Big Bang’s book ‘Shouting to you in the world’ released on 28th January, GDragon gave his stand about the incident.
He said, “The clothes I wear is not about price or brand but about expression. When I say that music is the energy that moves me, fashion and clothes are the platforms for widening imagination. I had always wanted to work in the fashion industry if given the time and opportunity, and in my spare time of writing songs, I do make drawings and designs of clothes.”
“I wear my clothes with no relations to social standards but just as I feel like it but this has got me many criticisms along the way too. But the issue is also raised that as an entertainer in the centre of many’s attention, my conduct should be reconsidered and appropriate.” He added carefully.

According to the new issue of FRIDAY, rising actor Hiro Mizushima (24) and popular singer Ayaka (20) appear to be dating. The magazine took pictures of the couple on a date in Tokyo's Azabu-Juban neighborhood earlier this month.
The two were seen getting off a taxi in Azabu-Juban one night, wearing large sunglasses. Because it was lightly raining, the two were seen sharing Mizushima's umbrella. They spent about an hour and a half at a restaurant enjoying dinner, then were spotted again as they left, this time with their hands together tightly holding the umbrella. They then took a taxi to a high-class apartment building and went inside.
The pair seem to have gotten close after Ayaka sang the theme song "Okaeri" for the Fuji TV drama "Zettai Kareshi," which starred Mizushima, Saki Aibu, and Mocomichi Hayami.
Both Ayaka and Mizushima are managed by Ken-on. The agency opted for a "no comment," though it seemingly confirmed the news by remarking that both celebrities are already adults.

Anime News Network has picked up on official confirmation that the live-action "Cowboy Bebop" film is moving forward. Sunrise, the animation studio responsible for the original anime, is working with 20th Century Fox and 3 Arts Entertainment to develop the movie.
As previously reported, producer Erwin Stoff is attached to the project. Actor Keanu Reeves, who worked with Stoff in "A Scanner Darkly" and "The Matrix," has signed on to star as Spike Spiegel.

In an interview Goo Hye Sun had at the hospital on the 28th, she revealed,"Thanks to Lee Min Ho I got to get to the hospital quickly to receive treatment."
"After the accident occurred, a van that looked a lot like Lee Min Ho's passed by. With my head ringing, I slightly remember thinking, 'I wish that was Min Ho's car.' As the car door opened, it turned out that it was really Min Ho, and he began to run toward us. At that time he looked like the savior of the world. Had I gotten to the hospital any later, my recovery would have been later as well. I was so thankful."
Goo Hye Sun's car collided with a dump truck that was driving ahead of them. Lee Min Ho took Goo Hye Sun all the way to the hospital, and then proceeded to go back to filming. He then attended the award ceremony with the rest of his cast. However, Lee Min Ho and his representatives kept the incident(where LMH helped GHS) quiet.
Goo Hye Sun watched the award ceremony on TV. "I was shocked when I saw Lee Min Ho fall on the red carpet. I laughed without even knowing. I thought the stitches in my mouth had come undone(laughs). Lee Min Ho and Kim Hyun Joong came to visit after the ceremony. I was very thankful. It must not have been easy to make time when they had such a busy schedule."
She expressed her happiness when she saw her two co-stars receiving the awards.

Matsumoto plays a half-Filipino whose father has died and mother has disappeared. Despite his misfortune and the issues he deals with, such as race, he lives his life positively with a constant smile.
Similarly, Aragaki plays a young woman living cheerfully despite losing her ability to speak due to an accident. Her character is said to be modeled after a real actress in the theatrical troupe that Takuma runs.
The supporting cast includes Kiichi Nakai as a lawyer who watches over Matsumoto and Aragaki.
"Smile" will air on Friday nights at 10:00pm, starting in April.

The movie takes place after the graduation of that season's third-year class, which includes students played by Yuya Takaki and Haruma Miura. The story is related to a special episode airing on March 28 that deals with a big confrontation between the third-year students and the second-year students. In the movie, the same characters are involved again, but the story is set during the following school year.
The leader of the second-year students in the drama special is played by Kis-My-Ft2 member Yuta Tamamori, who has never acted in a television drama before. He will also appear in the movie.
NTV's Toya Sato, who worked on the dramas, is directing. The film is scheduled to open in July.

"Zettai Kareshi" returns

He really is in the movie! Actor Daniel Henney is pictured here in Canada on the set of the upcoming film “X-men Origins: Wolverine”. Daniel Henney, I am now convinced, is the first person to have a real Hollywood debut. Rain’s film “Speed Racer”, besides being a box-office flop, was forgotten about before it was even released. Jun Ji Hyun’s film, “Blood: The Last Vampire”, though slated for release next month, has yet to produce a trailer or any evidence of said release. Lee Byung Hun’s film, “G.I. Joe”, sure to be a hit, will not be released until after Henney’s and, well, you can’t even see his face in the poster.
Henney, on the other hand, was in the trailer of the film (albeit for a blink of the eye) and he even had lines. Lines, guys. And not ones that he had to memorize phonetically. I’m excited to see all the Hallyu stars debut in their Hollywood films, but Henney seems to be beating them all to the punch. Incredibly Sad: Actress commits Suicide on Boys Before Flowers
boys over flowers, koreanIt was another setback and a major one for Boys Before Flowers as one of the actresses, Jang Ja Yun (27) who plays Sunny in the drama and makes life difficult for Jandi as part of the JinSunMi trio was found to have committed suicide in her Bundang home today.
According to local police who confirmed the suicide, "Jang Ja Yun was found to have committed suicide in her own home today. She was discovered at around 7.34pm by her sister who then called the police. We are now investigating the case and will give further updates like the reason, her will (if any), etc at a later time." The police also revealed that her approximate time of death was around 4.30pm and that she had hung herself.
Friends who knew Jang Ja Yun was shocked by her suicide and expressed, "She had a passion for acting and loved it very much. She was very much a extrovert and we never really expected that she would commit suicide." Her sudden suicide has plunged the entire Boys Before Flowers into shock with the main cast of Lee Min Ho, Goo Hye Sun, etc unable to believe what they have heard after learning of the news from their respective companies.
Everyone involved with Boys Before Flowers will be paying their respects tomorrow morning at her wake after the morning session ends. According to someone at the filming site now, "We are still filming now (10pm, KST) and it was a big shock to receive this sad news suddenly. Singer cum actor Kim HyunJoong (23) complains about his backache being the after-effect of his traffic accident.
Kim HyunJoong met up with a traffic accident last month at the vicinity of Cheonggyecheon while on his way to the filming scene for KBS 2TV drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’. Seungri (Big Bang) Shares His First Love Story
Seungri was on SBS PowerFM ‘Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time - School vacation special episode - Big Star special show’ on 12th January where he revealed he experienced his first love during his 3 year in the secondary school.
He was in a dance team back then, “When I had my first perform on stage, a girl in the audience crowd caught my eyes. Right after the performance, I went off stage and approached her to ask for her contact.”
And DJ Choi responded, “That’s such a manly gesture. (’Manly’ as in bold in this case)” And SeungRi replied, “There is only just 1 chance. I told myself I don’t want to go home and have regrets over why I let the chance go away, so I summoned all my courage for it.”
He continued, “I had my first kiss with this girl under the umbrella on one rainy day. Even though I know how this girl is doing now, for sake of this girl’s privacy, this will just remain as memories.”
SeungRi also revealed that he is the type who will, “do things like telling funny stories so as to make the girl he likes enjoy and have many laughter.”
