SS501’s leader Hyunjoong recently took on the challenges of acting for the first time in the KBS2 drama Boys Before Flowers alongside Go Hyesun, Lee Minho and others.
One of his members, Kim Hyungjun, participated in KBS’s Star Golden Bell whereby he was asked by MC Kim JaeDong about his opinion on Hyunjoong’s acting.
Hyungjun replied that Hyunjoong was originally quiet and blunt in character, therefore he’s been acting well as he doesn’t talk much in the drama.
All the other SS members except for Jungmin are currently working on a project group and have been promoting their song ‘U R Man’. They have also received much attention as they assisted in the drama just for Hyunjoong.
Apart from singing the theme song ‘Because I am Foolish’ for the drama, they also made appearances in the drama. They were in the club scene during the 4th episode of the drama which was aired on the 13th.
Kim Hyungjun also expressed his interest in acting and even displayed his acting skills, to which the other participants praised and said that he would be able to dabble into acting.
The episode of Star Golden Bell featuring them will air on the 17th.

SS501’s Kim HyungJoon, Kim KyuJong, Heo YoungSaeng will have a special appearance in KBS 2TV Mon-Tue drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’.
This is to express their support to leader Kim HyunJoong who turns into an actor with the role of F4 member ‘Yun Jihu’ in the drama.
They will appear as singers singing in a café for filming of the 4th episode on 11-Jan, singing ‘U R Man’ during their appearance.
Companys representative explained “SS501 sang "I am stupid" for Boys over flowersOST, however the production of the OST is not done yet, so they had to sing ‘"UR Man"’ which is what they’re currently promoting.”
With regards to the meeting with member Kim HyunJoong in the drama, they said “The actual content has not been confirmed yet so seems like we will know it at the filming scene itself.”

Since the news of Jung Hyung Don pairing up with So Nyeo Shi Dae member Kim Tae Yeon on MBC We Got Married broke yesterday, fans and netizens alike have gone berserk and hyper over the most unlikeliest pairing.
In an interview with the PDs of We Got Married, “Jung Hyung Don and Tae Yeon completed their first recording on the 5th. Despite the on-going media union strike, we were able to complete the filming of their first meeting with the hiring of contract workers.” This will be Hyung Don’s second “marriage” on the show, having gone through a divorce with Saori due to a clash in personality early last year. Hyung Don and Tae Yeon who have a age difference of 11 years will replace the outgoing Ant couple, Crown J and Seo In Young.
Jung Hyung Don who has already quite a number of anti-fans with his obnoxious behavior, will have realized that the number has just multiplied overnight following this. More than 2000 messages were left on the MBC official website, stating their disbelief and horror, with some death threats even.
“It’s almost bordering on teen prostitution. Strongly object to their make-believe marriage”, “Really can’t understand why did they pair them up in the first place where there is such a large age gap between them. They should pair up those who can lead a normal make-believe marriage life”, “Is marriage a plaything to them (production team)? It has been a long wait for Lee Hyori, but no doubt worth it. Following after Daniel Henney in the New Year Special, charismatic Big Bang member T.O.P. will be the next to appear on SBS Family Outing as a guest family member.
T.O.P. joined the existing family members of Family Outing at a village in Okgye, Gangneung City, Gangwon-do province on the 19th and completed the filming successfully. T.O.P. is the 3rd Big Bang member to be on Family Outing after Daesung who is a permanent family member and G-Dragon last year.
Over the 2 days of filming, T.O.P. went fishing and had a snowball ‘fight’ with the other family members. One member of the production team revealed, “It’s much more interesting seeing them in action yourself than on television.”
PD Jang Hyuk Jae revealed in a phone interview today, “T.O.P. performed better than what I had expected with his great sense of variety timing.
